Painting has been a lifelong passion, and watercolour holds a special place in my heart. It is a medium that accompanies me everywhere, with my small palette of colours always tucked into my bag alongside a few brushes, pencils, and pens.

Watercolour is magical. Its pigments dance across wet paper, blending together and sometimes pushing away from one another. Part of it can be controlled, while the rest is left to mystery and the unexpected.

I grew up in France, far from the noise of the city, in a small watermill by the river. Our simple life, shaped by the rhythm of nature through the changing seasons, left a lasting impression on me. I spent countless hours watching the river, caring for our animals, and wandering through the forest. My inner world was deeply inspired by the beauty of this way of life, which I had to leave behind as a teenager, not without regret.

Coming from a family deeply rooted in the arts, I was introduced at an early age to music, painting, and the living world.

Thanks to my grandfather, I developed a fascination with botany and astronomy from a very young age. The night sky is a recurring theme in my paintings, alongside detailed flowers and a wide variety of plants.

My mother is both a multi-instrumentalist and a naïve art painter, and I spent many hours sitting on her lap, watching her draw and apply vibrant colours to wooden panels coated with gesso.

Watercolour has always been my faithful companion throughout my travels and the years I spent abroad, in Finland, England, and Morocco. The way I paint the world is deeply inspired by the landscapes, light, and experiences I encountered in these remarkable countries.
